Union Gas supports Milton Fire Department to promote smoke and carbon monoxide alarm safety

The Milton Fire Department will support Milton residents with smoke and carbon monoxide alarm awareness and safety through a $2,500 donation from Union Gas on October 2, 2017.

“On behalf of Milton Council, I would like to thank Union Gas for contributing to the safety of our residents,” said Milton Mayor Gord Krantz. “The continuing support of our community over many years by Union Gas is greatly appreciated.”

“The strong partnership between the Milton Fire Department and Union Gas allows us to enhance support of vital fire prevention initiatives,” added Milton Fire Chief Dave Pratt.

The Union Gas cheque presentation provides a natural lead-in to Fire Prevention Week, October 8 to 14, 2017. This year’s theme is “Every second counts. #Plan 2 ways out.”
