Certification of Documents
The Clerk's Division at the Town of Milton will help you obtain 'certified true copies' of various documents.
Obtaining Certified Copies of Documents
When you are asked to submit documents to government, insurance companies or banking institutions, you may require 'certified true copies' of your papers, such as a birth certificate or marriage certificate. If you need certified copies of any documents:
- Contact the Clerk's Division between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, to make sure a Commissioner will be available. Contact Information is on the left side of this page.
- Bring your original document to the Clerk's Division at 150 Mary Street Milton.
- A copy will be made of the original document will be certified as a true copy of your original paper.
Fee
The fee for Certification of documents is as follows:
- 1-5 pages - $25.99
- 6-10 pages - $35.03
- 11-20 pages - $46.33
- 21+ pages - $57.63
