Sports Parks

The Town of Milton Community Services Department handles the scheduling for ball diamonds and soccer fields for community use. These parks are officially open for the summer season from mid-April to mid-October.

Park Rentals

Hold your next outdoor sporting event or social gathering at one of the Town's parks. Take advantage of the baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts and beach volleyball courts or use park space for wedding pictures, picnics and more.

Field and Diamond Playability Updates

In order to assist you with planning your sports and recreation activities, soccer field and baseball diamond playability updates will be available on a daily basis throughout the summer season (May 1 - September 25).

Tennis Courts

The Town of Milton offers two options to play tennis on municipally owned courts:   

Public Drop-in Courts

Tennis Courts operated by the Town of Milton open around mid-April depending on the weather and close at the end of the Thanksgiving weekend. Locations are as follows:

  • Bronte Meadows Park (not lit)    
  • Optimist Park (not lit)
  • Rotary Park (Lights can be activated after dusk by push-button; lights shut off automatically at park closing time at 11:00 p.m.)

Court surfaces, posts and mesh are inspected and repaired on a regular basis. For maintenance concerns or questions,
please complete the maintenance reporting form.

Member Club Courts

Municipally owned tennis courts operated by the following not-for-profit tennis clubs:

  • Milton Tennis Club located in the Community Park south of the Milton Sports Centre at 605 Santa Maria Blvd.
  • Nassagaweya Tennis Club located at the Nassagaweya Tennis Centre and Community Hall at 9267 Guelph Line (just north of the 401 & Guelph Line interchange).

Maintenance Reporting Form

We invite you to report soccer field and ball diamond maintenance concerns so that together we can ensure your experiences at Milton's sports parks are positive and in keeping with the Town's goal of a "safe, livable and healthy community." This reporting form is for community use of parks within the Town. Please note that sports parks will be maintained from mid-April to mid-October for the summer season.
