  • Parking regulations
  • Parking enforcement

  • Online parking considerations

Public Works Operations

  • Day-to-day maintenance of local and regional roads, parks and sports fields
  • Winter control operations, including snow plowing/removal and sanding/salting
  • Installation and maintenance of roads-related signage
  • Installation and maintenance of ditching and drainage systems
  • Surface treatment, shoulder repair and dust control on rural roads

Development Engineering

  • Review and approval of engineering drawings and reports for all new residential and industrial development, which includes subdivisions, site plans and condominiums
  • Administration of all subdivision/ condominium agreements
  • Participation as a commenting agency for all Development Engineering Applications
  • Inspection of all subdivision and site plan municipal services (storm sewers, roads, curb, sidewalk, grading, etc.)
  • Project management of Secondary Master Plans for stormwater management and servicing, including the environmental monitoring programs for each Secondary Plan
  • Establishment and enforcement of engineering design standards
