Standing Committees of Council

Members of two Standing Committees of Council make recommendations to Council on various matters. Each committee consists of five Councillors and the Mayor. Committee members review all reports, formulate policy and make recommendations to Council on matters over which Council has authority under the Municipal Act, the Planning Act and other legislation.

Administration and Planning Committee

The Administration and Planning Committee make recommendations to council relating to corporate administration, personnel, legal issues, planning and finance. The Committee reviews the operating and capital budgets as well as various financial matters affecting the Town of Milton.

The following Council Members sit on the Administration and Planning Committee:

Community Services Committee

The Community Services Committee is responsible for matters consisting of Community Services, Fire, Library, Transit and other operational programs.
