The Town of Milton has passed by-laws to license body-rub parlours, adult videotape stores and adult entertainment establishments.
Body-Rub Parlours
All owners, operators and attendants of body-rub parlours require business licenses according to By-law #37-2003 .

Adult Videotape Stores
By-law #53-2003 states that there are two classes of adult videotape store:
- Class "A" (over a 10:100 adult to non-adult tape ratio)
- Class "B" (under a 10:100 adult to non-adult tape ratio)
All owners of both classes of adult videotape stores require business licenses according to By-law #53-2003 .

Adult Entertainment Establishments
All owners and operators of adult entertainment establishments require business licenses. In addition, all entertainers providing entertainment must be registered with the Town of Milton. By-law #54-2003 sets out the requirements with respect to licensing this type of business.
