Parking Considerations

If you are having out-of-town guests, driveway repairs or a special function, and require on-street parking in excess of three hours (existing parking bylaw), you may obtain a parking consideration. Parking considerations will only be granted to allow parking in excess of three hours in designated parking areas. All other parking by-laws remain in effect. A maximum 18 parking considerations will be granted per plate per year.

Important Notice: During snow clearing operations the Town has the right to refuse granting parking considerations.

There are 3 ways to obtain a parking consideration:

Online - 24 hours, 7 days a week
- To cancel a future parking consideration, please contact us by Phone.
- If there is an interuption of the online service please contact us by Phone.
Phone - During Business Hours (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday), please contact the Engineering Services Department at 905-878-7252 ext. 2530. The following information must be provided:
- Name of homeowner
- Address
- Vehicle licence plate number
- Street that vehicle will be parked on
- Length of time required
- Reason for consideration
Phone - After Hours, please leave all of the required information on the voice mail system. Please note that after hour considerations are only granted for one (1) night and if all required information is not left a consideration will not be granted.
