Prime time ice availability

Each week, prime time ice is available for booking on a first-come, first-serve basis. This web page is updated every Tuesday morning with ice availability information. Occasionally, if additional ice time becomes available, the schedule may be updated again later in the week.

Booking seasonal and non-prime time ice

Seasonal bookings:

The deadline for ice bookings from from September 2008 - June 2009 is February 28, 2008.
Non-prime time bookings:

Non-prime time ice is available at various times.

Ice booking and payment policies

Liability insurance:

The Town of Milton requires that all facility users (permit holders) provide proof of General Liability Insurance in the amount of $2 million. This requirement is meant to protect you, as the renter. Organizations should have this insurance in place as your group’s actions are open for possible lawsuits from third parties who may be at the site you have rented.
The Town of Milton can assist your group with insurance; for more details, please call 905-875-5393, ext. 2602.
Before your ice permit can be finalized and released, you will need a letter from your insurance agent or broker stating the following:
- Name of group or individual covered
- Date and time of activity (e.g,. coverage for the period of August to June inclusive)
- Location of activity (Town of Milton facility names and locations)
- Type of activity (league hockey, pick-up hockey, recreational skating, figure skating, etc.)
- Amount of coverage (at least $2 million)

Payment:

For all ice rentals, full payment and proof of insurance is due within seven days of your ice booking request.
Payments may be made using cash, cheque (made payable to the Town of Milton), Visa, Mastercard, or direct debit. However, if you are paying for a booking that takes place within the next wo weeks, cheques will not be accepted.
There is a $36.50 charge for NSF cheques.

Payment location:

Payment must be made at the Milton Sports Centre, Customer Service Counter, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Arena maintenance staff are not permitted to take payments.)

Cancellations:

Cancellations are accepted with written notice to the Town at least two weeks prior to the date that has been booked. An administrative fee of $17.32 will be charged for all cancellations.
