The Town of Milton will be holding a virtual Council meeting to consider the 2022 proposed capital and operating budgets on Dec. 6, 2021, at 7 p.m.

The proposed 2022 budget represents a continued strategic investment in Milton. The budget is prepared with consideration for balancing taxpayer affordability while meeting the service level expectations by the community.

 The 2022 proposed budget is focused on advancing Council’s and the community’s priorities with investment in:

• Customer service
• Community safety (fire services)
• Modernization of services
• Sustainability – environmental and financial
• Asset management
• Transit
• COVID-19 cost mitigation

Get involved with the budget by:

• Learning more about the 2022 proposed budget and highlights online
• Submitting comments to be considered in the budget process
• Watching the live webcast of the Council budget workshop on Nov. 29, 2021, at 7 p.m.
• Registering to speak at the Dec. 6, 2021, meeting by submitting a Delegate Request Form by 10 a.m. by Dec. 2, 2021
• Watching the live webcast of the Council budget meeting on Dec. 6, 2021
