Public Service Announcement

Please be advised that a Cold Warning Alert has been issued for Jan. 10, 2022.

Halton Region Public Health issues cold warnings during any of the following weather conditions:

  • Daily predicted low of -15 degrees Celsius without wind-chill
  • Environment Canada issues an Extreme Cold Warning for outdoor activity (temperature or wind chill to reach -30 degrees Celsius for at least 2 consecutive hours)

Residents are encouraged to check in on family, friends and neighbours, especially those who may be vulnerable to cold-weather related illnesses
