Abbamania Returns to the Milton Centre for the Arts

Posted on Thursday January 24, 2013

News Release -

The Milton Centre for the Arts presents Abbamania on Saturday, February 9 at 8:00 p.m. in the Mattamy Theatre.

“We are happy to bring back Abbamania again this year,” said Rob Mackay, Manager, Cultural Services for the Town of Milton. “It is a special show because it includes one of our own, Milton-born Michelle Truman. Audiences will appreciate this local connection when they witness all the members’ incredible talent and likeness to such a successful and popular group.”

With an all-Canadian cast joining Milton’s Michelle Truman, Abbamania is the largest production of Abba in the world. A cast of 14 studio musicians recreates Abba in concert in look, vocals and sound. Audiences will relive the magic of this iconic band with all the favourites, from "Dancing Queen" and "Fernando" to "Waterloo" and "Mamma Mia."

Tickets for this performance are available at the Chudleigh’s Box Office and online at www.miltoncentreforthearts.ca. The adult ticket cost is $44, with a child/student/senior cost of $42.  High school students can take advantage of the eyeGo to the Arts program, which provides a limited number of discounted tickets at $5.

Additional information on upcoming Milton Centre for the Arts performances and shows is available at the afore-mentioned website or by calling 905-878-6000.
