Public service announcement

The Town of Milton is inviting residents and business owners to share their thoughts and ideas about how to prioritize services and investments for 2022.

The Capital and Operating Budget provides for the investments to be made in the community and is a reflection of Council’s strategic vision for the Town as outlined in the Council-Staff Workplan, as well as the many detailed studies and plans undertaken by the Town.

The annual budget process provides Council with the opportunity to balance resources to meet the Town’s priorities and deliver services to the community.

The budget is developed according to the following steps:

  • July-August 2021: Public engagement seeking priorities for 2022
  • September 2021: Council establishes budget guidelines
  • November 2021: Proposed budget is available for viewing at
  • December 2021: Council deliberates and approves the budget
