Public Service Announcement

Each year, Milton proudly raises and flies the Pride Flag during Pride Month to show our continued commitment to all members of the community to feel represented and welcomed. This year, to celebrate Pride Month and the 2SLGBTQ+ community, Milton is showing its continued support by adding the Pride rainbow through select crosswalks and benches, while continuing to raise the Pride Flag.

Milton Council and staff are pleased to share that Milton will paint two rainbow crosswalks, using the Pride flag colours, in our downtown core for Pride Month at Brown/Main St. and Charles/Main St.

Additionally, as early as next week, our Milton Public Library locations will have rainbow benches available year round for residents to enjoy sitting in the outdoors, while representing a safe space for our 2SLGBTQ+ community.

With the Town of Milton being a place of diversity and inclusivity that strives to create safe, welcoming spaces for all members of the community, it will be joining communities across Ontario and Canada in participating in Pride Month (June), to show its continued support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
