Public Service Announcement

On Jan. 12, 2021, the Province of Ontario declared a second State of Emergency, with additional public health guidelines effective on Jan. 14, 2021.

The purpose of the State of Emergency declaration, stay-at-home order and new COVID-19 measures is to limit mobility and unnecessary contact.

The stay-at-home order requires everyone to remain at home with exceptions for essential purposes or activities, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services, for exercise or for work where the work cannot be done remotely.

Service impacts

Effective Jan. 14, 2021 all Town facilities will be closed to the public.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to continue using the Town’s website to make online payments and access various services including property taxesparking tickets and transit tickets and passes. For more information about online services, visit the Town Hall COVID-19 web page.

Town recreation centres and facilities

All Town of Milton recreation facilities will remain closed to the public and in-person recreational programming is paused until further notice.

To keep the community engaged, active and learning, Milton is offering registered virtual programs, for residents to participate in from home. The community is encouraged to stay active and healthy, but to do so with your own household.

Thank you for your patience and support through program and service changes. For more information about the Town’s response to the ongoing pandemic, visit the Town’s COVID-19 web portal or subscribe for regular email updates.
