Statement from Mayor Krantz – Passing of Queen Elizabeth II

It is with heavy hearts, the Town of Milton joins the world in mourning the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Our thoughts and condolences are with The Royal Family and everyone around the world grieving Her Majesty.

As Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, her loss will be greatly felt around the globe.

With a 70-year reign, Queen Elizabeth II has been the only monarch many members of our community have known.

We are grateful for her record-setting length of service to Canada and the world.

The flags at Town Hall and Town of Milton facilities will be at half-mast in her honour.
