Public service announcement

As the holiday season is upon us, please be advised that all administrative offices including Town Hall will be closed starting Dec. 24, 2021, to Jan. 4, 2022.

Customer service inquiries

During the closure, Town staff are addressing urgent or health and safety inquiries only. For non-urgent inquiries, residents will receive responses once offices reopen.

For emergencies regarding:

We encourage you to use the Town’s website to make online payments for various services including transit fare, parking tickets and parking exceptions.

All community centres and facilities will be closed Dec. 25-26, 2021, and on Jan. 1, 2022. Some centres will be closed and others will be reducing operating hours during the winter break. We have many recreational opportunities available for you to enjoy including drop-in skating, fitness classes and virtual STEM workshops.

Check out available programming and activities online. You can also find ice and gym rental availability online.

Snow removal

Roads are maintained in a priority sequence beginning with primary roads, secondary roads, followed by residential roads. Plowing begins when at least two centimetres of snow has accumulated on roads.

Parked vehicles make it difficult and sometimes impossible to properly clear roads. Please keep your vehicle off of roadways during and after snow storms.

It takes time to clean up after a storm. Please wait until 24-hours after the snowfall has ended before reporting your concerns. For plowing updates, check out Plow Tracks.

Milton Transit service is not available on Dec. 25, 2021, or Jan. 1, 2022. Regular service is running Dec. 27-31 and on Jan. 3, 2021 onwards. You can purchase fares online or visit a ticket agent during operating hours. View full schedules on Milton Transit’s website.

We wish you a happy and safe holiday season.
