Public service announcement

On Jan. 3, 2022, the provincial government announced that Ontario is moving to a modified Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen, effective Jan. 5, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. for at least 21 days.

As a result of the new regulations, and to continue protecting community members and staff from the highly transmissible Omicron variant, all Town of Milton recreation facilities will be closed as of Jan. 5, 2022. All renters, permits holders, registrants and members will receive direct communication from the Town with more information on these service impacts.

Milton Public Library branches will remain open with capacity limited to 50 per cent.

Town Hall remains open and the 10-customer capacity limit remains in place. Customers are encouraged to use our online service tools or call us at 905-878-7252 to make an appointment before visiting Town Hall.

The Town of Milton encourages residents to continue to do their part to stay healthy, and remember the basics:

  • Get vaccinated, including your booster
  • Stay home if you’re sick
  • Wash or sanitize your hands regularly
  • Wear a mask at indoor public spaces
  • Physically distance
  • Follow all other public health guidance
