If your nonprofit organization helps to make life better in Milton, you can apply for cash grants from the Milton Community Fund.

The Community Fund Advisory Committee (CFAC) is made up of seven Milton residents, including a member from Town Council. The CFAC will consider organizations that offer programs and services in art, culture, and recreation that benefit the Milton community.

Applications for 2026 funding closed July 28, 2025. Successful applicants receive grant money in January 2026. Submitted applications were based on Guidelines for Emerging Organizations and Established Organizations.

Application intake for 2027 funding will open mid-May 2026.

History

Town of Milton Council created the program to allot funds received by proceeds from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) through the Town's hosting of Elements Casino Mohawk location for the benefit of the community.

Organizations unable to accept funding from the OLG, can contact Town staff for more details, as there are alternate funding sources available. 

Since 2001, the Milton Community Fund has distributed more than $8.4 million to the Milton community through this program.
