In Milton, e-scooters are not permitted on public property, including roads, sidewalks, bike lanes, trails, parks, and transit. Children and youth aged 15 and under cannot legally ride e-scooters, even in municipalities where they are allowed. E-scooter accidents can result in serious injuries, especially when riders travel at high speeds or do not wear helmets.

Milton Transit provides School Extra bus service for students travelling to and from secondary schools during the school year, including exam days. Several School Extra routes have been updated for the 2026-27 school year beginning Sept. 8, 2026.
