Overview
The Town of Milton is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive community for residents, visitors, employees, and businesses.
We provide accessible services, programs, facilities, and information to help remove barriers and support equal access for everyone. Our accessibility efforts are guided by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), including the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation.

Interpreters and communication support
If you require communication support, such as an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter, to participate in a Town program, meeting, or event, submit a request through the Town Clerk's Office contact form at least one week before the event.
Emergency response and preparedness
The Town's Emergency Plan includes response and preparedness measures that consider the needs of people with visible and invisible disabilities.
Residents can also access the Emergency Preparedness for Persons with Disabilities resources developed in partnership with Halton Region and Halton Regional Police Service to help prepare for emergencies.
