Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to volunteer with the Town of Milton. Opportunities are available throughout the year across different programs, facilities, and events.

What to expect when you apply 

Before applying, it is helpful to understand the general requirements for Town volunteer roles. These requirements help ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone involved. 

All volunteers are expected to: 

  • Provide two reference letters 

  • Attend an interview and provide references at that time 

  • Participate in mandatory training 

  • Complete all required documentation 

  • Complete any additional screening required for your role 

Please note: 

  • You are responsible for any costs related to CRC or VSC checks 

  • Placement is not guaranteed, and opportunities may be limited 

  • If selected, staff will work with you to match you with a suitable role 

Community involvement hours 

Many volunteer roles may count toward high school community involvement hours. 
If you are a student, check with your school to confirm eligibility and requirements before applying.
