The Town of Milton offers temporary sign rentals to help promote community events, programs or announcements. Renting a sign provides a simple and visible way to share important information across Milton. This page outlines the types of signs available, how to book them, associated fees and key guidelines to help you plan your rental.
Sign rentals are available to community groups, organizations, businesses and residents promoting public events or messages.
Note: Renting a sign does not imply endorsement by the Town of Milton.

Electronic signs are available at:
- Milton Sports Centre: Santa Maria Boulevard and Derry Road
- Nassagaweya Tennis Centre & Community Hall: Guelph Line, Campbellville
Rental fees:

$48 per sign per week (HST not included). Includes both sides of the sign, where applicable.

A 10% premium applies to non-residents and commercial users.
Static signs are available at:
- Chris Hadfield Park: Milton Visitor & Community Information Services
- John Tonelli Sports Centre: Laurier Avenue
- Milton Leisure Centre: Main Street East
- Milton Memorial Arena: Thompson Road
Rental fees:

$72 per sign per week (HST not included). Includes both sides of the sign, where applicable.

A 10% premium applies to non-residents and commercial users.

All sign messages run for a minimum of one week (Monday–Sunday).

A maximum of two consecutive weeks may be booked.

If the event, activity or announcement you're advertising falls in the middle of the week, you must still book the full week for the sign and the cost remains the same.

Outdated content may be removed and replaced with Town of Milton information.
The Town of Milton reserves the right to refuse messages considered unsuitable, including those of a religious, political or immoral nature. Renting sign space does not imply endorsement by the Town.

Prepare your message and ensure it meets content guidelines.

Choose one or two consecutive weeks for your rental.

Complete and submit the Municipal Outdoor Sign Request form before the applicable deadline.

Town Staff will review all submissions, and allocation will be prioritize based on guideline adherence, availability, and greatest community impact. Where the request can be accommodated, Town Staff will contact the applicant to confirm details and discuss rental requirements.
If the Permit Holder no longer requires the sign rental, the Town must be notified, in writing, of the cancellation. Where notification of the cancellation is received by the Town at least fourteen14 days prior to the event, the Permit Holder will be eligible to receive a refund for the associated rental fees (less a 20% Non-Refundable Deposit). Refunds will not be remitted if the Town receives notification of cancellation within 13 days or less of the event date.
