Overview
The Milton Youth Task Force (MYTF) is a youth-led initiative for residents in the Town of Milton. It provides opportunities for youth to get involved in the community, build leadership skills, and share their perspectives on local issues.
Through events, outreach, and partnerships with community organizations, MYTF helps youth stay informed, connected, and empowered.
This program is open to:

Youth aged 13 to 18
- Individuals interested in leadership, advocacy, and community involvement
As a member of MYTF, you will have opportunities to participate in community initiatives and develop leadership skills.
You can:

Get involved in your community

Share feedback with local government and community organizations

Advocate for the needs of youth

Develop leadership and teamwork skills
To support these goals, the program is structured into two teams with distinct roles.
Meetings and involvement
MYTF meets regularly throughout the year to plan initiatives and collaborate on projects.

All members meet bi-monthly

Additional meetings may be scheduled for events and special initiatives
Program commitment
Participation in the Milton Youth Task Force runs for one school year, from October to June.

Members are expected to attend regular meetings and take part in events and initiatives

These events provide opportunities for youth to connect, showcase talent, and engage with the community.

Applications for MYTF are accepted annually, typically in August.
