2021-31 Fire Master Plan
The Fire Master Plan provides Council and senior staff with a strategic planning framework to deliver fire protection services over the next 10 years, as Milton is expected to reach a population of 219,900 by 2031.
NG9-1-1 Planning
Since 2022, the Ontario government has provided nearly $2.5 million to support the Milton Fire & Rescue Service's federally mandated transition to an integrated Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) system. Completed in coordination with the Halton Regional Police Service, the transition improves the speed, reliability, and quality of Milton's emergency communications network.
