Ward 1 residents are represented by both a Town Councillor and a Regional Councillor. Together, they help shape decisions that affect the Town of Milton and the broader Halton Region.

Town Councillor George Minakakis 

George Minakakis serves as the Town Councillor for Ward 1 and represents residents on Milton Town Council. In this role, he works with the Mayor and members of Council to help shape municipal policies, services, budgets, and long-term planning initiatives.

Regional Councillor Colin Best 

Colin Best serves as the Regional Councillor for Ward 1, representing residents at both Milton Town Council and Halton Regional Council. In addition to participating in municipal decision-making, he helps address regional matters such as transportation, infrastructure, public health, and regional services.
