Wide, Heavy, Oversize or Overweight Vehicle Permit

An oversize and overweight vehicle permit is required before moving loads that exceed standard weight or size limits on roads within the Town of Milton. This includes vehicles transporting wide, heavy, or oversized loads that may impact traffic flow, road infrastructure, or public safety.

You can apply for this permit on a one-time or annual basis, depending on your operational needs. Each application is reviewed to ensure the proposed route and load meet municipal requirements and minimize disruption.

If your route requires the use of Regional roads, you must apply through Halton Region, as the Town of Milton does not issue permits for Regional road allowances.
