Agerton

Overview

The Agerton Secondary Plan Area is part of Milton’s next phase of growth and development. It is generally bounded by Highway 401 to the north, Derry Road to the south, the Greenbelt to the west, and Eighth Line to the east. The community structure is centered on the Milton-Trafalgar GO Protected Major Transit Station Area (PMTSA), which will function as the primary urban node in the Trafalgar Corridor.

Statutory public meetings under the Planning Act were held in July 2022 and March 2026, where draft plans were presented for comment. The consultation period has ended.

The Town updated the Agerton Secondary Plan for Council consideration. Council approved the Agerton Secondary Plan on June 22, 2026. The secondary plan will only come into force and effect after the Province has approved Milton’s new Official Plan.
