- On each level of your home
- Outside all sleeping areas
Important reminders:
- Test your smoke alarms monthly
- Check the expiry date or replace every 10 years
- Change alarm batteries yearly
- Check that outside vents and chimneys are not blocked
- Get an annual inspection of all fuel-burning appliances in your home
