Milton Seniors' Activity Centre

At the Milton Seniors' Activity Centre, we offer a variety of registered and drop-in programs for adults age 55 years and older. Whether you want to be social, creative, learn a new skill or stay fit, we’ve got a program for you. 

Drop-in recreation activities at the Milton Seniors' Activity Centre include art classes, tai chi, table tennis, card games, billiards games, music and so much more.

Registered, multi-week programs include fitness classes like zumba, yoga, pilates, strength and tone classes and many more. Other registered programs include a book club, bingo social, euchre social, guest speaker series, dancing, trips, lunch counter and social, all kinds of craft workshops and so much more.

Recreation Portal Registration

Registration is required for booking in-person and virtual programs. To register for programs you must have a recreation account. 

Creating a recreation account

If you do not have an Seniors' Activity Centre membership, you will need to create an account in order to register for programs. For assistance creating your account, you can call the Centre at 905-864-4132 or follow the step-by-step instructions online.

Financial assistance

We want to ensure that everyone in Milton has an opportunity to take part in our recreation programs. The Town of Milton's Financial Assistance program supports the opportunity for all Milton residents to take part in recreation with up to $200 annually per person to everyone who qualifies. Waitlists

If all spaces are full in the program that you wanted to register for, you can add yourself to the waitlist. Placing yourself on the waitlist will help us to understand community interest and determine if additional programming is needed.

Cancellations

You can register and withdraw from activities online by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Select participant name
  3. Select 'Schedule' from the list on the left hand side
  4. Switch your view to 'List View' and select 'Action' beside the course you wish to cancel
  5. Select 'Withdraw' from drop-down list and choose the reason for cancellation

Notes:

  • The refund method is displayed on screen
  • Credit card payments will have the option to refund back to the original card
  • Withdrawal fees will be charged as per Town policy
  • Subsidy payments will be returned to subsidy account
  • Refunds take three business days to process

You can purchase memberships and passes online by logging in to your recreation account or in-person at our recreation facilities.
