Milton’s Property Tax Portal provides property owners with a secure, convenient and efficient way to manage property tax information online.

The portal gives registered users 24/7 access to: 

  • View current and previous property tax details (as of Jan. 1, 2026)  

  • Check account balances 

  • Review past payments and transaction history  

  • Print statements, bills, and adjustment notices  

  • Sign up for eBilling 

  • Update mailing address  

  • Change or cancel Autopay plans

Step-by-step Property Tax Portal instructions

 How to register on the Property Tax Portal
  1. Click on the website link Town of Milton Property Tax Portal.

  2. On the log in/sign up page click on Sign Up.

  3. Enter your email addressThis will be your login ID. 

  4. Create a password that meets the password requirements shown on the screen. 

  5. Select Create New User.

  6. Check your email for a verification message. 

  7. Open the email and select the verification link to complete your registration.

  • If you do not see the email, check your junk or spam folder.  

 How to log in to the Property Tax Portal  
  1.  Go to the Town of Milton Property Tax Portal.
  2. On the log in/sign up page click on Log in.

  3. Enter your email address and password.

For first-time users or new registrations only:  
  1. You will receive an email with a verification code.

  2. Enter your verification code and click Continue Login.

  3. Once logged in a Tax Account Registration page will appear.

  4. Enter your property tax information as it appears on your most recent property tax bill.

    • Property roll number (do not include dashes or spaces) 

    • Property access code 

    • Property owner name  

  5. Select Register to complete your registration.  

 How to add additional tax accounts  
  1. Sign in to the Town of Milton Property Tax Portal.

  2. From the left-hand menu, select Add Account.

  3. Enter the required property information as it appears on your most recent tax bill:  

    • Property roll number (do not include dashes or spaces) 

    • Property access code 

    • Property owner name (as it appears on your latest property tax bill)

  4. Select Register to add the account.
 How to update your billing method (eBilling)  
  1. Sign in to the Town of Milton Property Tax Portal.

  2. From the left-hand menu, select Delivery Method & Mailing Address.

  3. Select Update Delivery Method.

  4. Use the drop-down menu beside Tax Notices and select eBilling.

  5. Select Save to confirm your preference.

 How to update your mailing address 
  1. Sign in to the Town of Milton Property Tax Portal.
  2. From the left-hand menu, select Delivery Method & Mailing Address.

  3. Select Request Mailing Address Change.

  4. Fill out the required fields with your new mailing address information.

  5. Select Send request to submit your change.

 How to enrol in Autopay  
  1. Sign in to the Town of Milton Property Tax Portal.
  2. From the left-hand menu, select Autopay.

  3. The Current enrolment section will read Not currently enrolled.

  4. Select Sign up.

  5. Complete the required information, including: 

    • Autopay Plan (Installment, Monthly End, Monthly Mid, Monthly Semi)  

    • Financial Institution  

    • Branch transit 

    • Account  

    • Attachment – upload a picture of a void cheque or direct deposit form 

    • Notes – include any special instructions (for example, start my payment plan in October)

  6. Read the Terms and Conditions and select, Yes, I agree to the Terms and conditions.

  7. Click Save.

  8. After saving, a confirmation message will appear indicating your request has been submitted.  The Town of Milton Tax Department will review your applicationYou will receive an email once your enrolment is confirmed or if additional information is required. 

 How to generate a Statement of Account 
  1. Sign in to the Town of Milton Property Tax Portal.
  2. From the left-hand menu, select Statement of Account.

  3. Click the Generate statement of account button.

  4. Enter the dates for the statement of account you require and click Submit request.  
    • The start date cannot be earlier than the date you became the property owner 

    • You cannot request a statement that extends beyond your property ownership end date. 

    • If you are the current owner, the end date cannot be later than today’s date. 

  5. The statement of account requested will now be available by selecting View statement under the Actions column

 How to view tax notices 
 Property owners registered on the Property Tax Portal can view tax notices (2026 onwards).  
  1. Sign in to the Town of Milton Property Tax Portal.

  2. From the left-hand menu, select Account Information.

  3. Scroll down to Tax notices section.

  4. Select the desired tax notice to open the PDF.
