
Report a pet emergency
Animal Services will respond to animal-related emergencies in Milton for household pets that are:
- Visibly injured or sick
- Suffering or in immediate distress
- Running in traffic or in danger
- Acting aggressively to people or pets
- Stray animals in a contained area

Lost pet
- If your pet goes missing, you can submit a report by contacting the Town of Milton at 905-878-7252 ext. 2254 or submit a request online.
- Staff will follow up with you during regular business hours to gather information and will contact you should an animal matching the provided description be reported
- If your pet is missing, you may also contact The City of Burlington Animal Shelter at 905-335-7777 during regular City hours. They provide a temporary place for animals that have lost their way home, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and pocket pets.
Found pet
- If you find an animal in Milton, please can contact the Town of Milton at 905-878-7252 ext. 2254 or submit a request online.
- We will make every effort to reunite pets with their owners.
