Public service announcement

You can now see the art that Milton preschoolers and adults 55+ created together as part of an intergenerational creative exchange.

The FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton and Arts Milton collaborated to launch the Milton Generations Creative Exchange this spring, in response to the Avenues of Action outlined in Milton’s Culture Plan.

Each Sunday during the program, preschoolers who were four or five years old, and adults over age 55 were matched for an art activity and a snack break together.

Now, to showcase what they created, the program will host a public reception June 27 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Holcim Gallery in the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.

The program’s art will be on display until July 14, 2023 during open box office hours.

Milton Generations Creative Exchange was made possible by the Seniors Community Grant Program through the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility.
