COVID-19 update: On July 16, 2021, Milton entered Step 3 of the province’s Roadmap to Reopen. The Town of Milton is taking a staggered approach to reopening services and facilities to allow the necessary measures to be in place to ensure the safety of residents and staff.

Registered sports

Registered sports programs are available, with health and safety protocols in place.

Register for Sports 

If this if your first time attending programs since last August, our recreation software has changed. You will need to create your account before you can register for programs.

Drop-in sports

Select drop-in sports are available at the Milton Sports Centre, Milton Leisure Centre and Mattamy National Cycling Centre. Pre-register for drop-in sports online to reserve your spot.


  • Registration is required for all sports programs 
  • Registration opens 72 hours in advance for Milton residents and 48 hours in advance for non-residents

You can pay-per-visit or buy our 10-visit or annual pass. Visit a customer service desk to buy your pass or purchase your pass online through your account.
All prices include HST. Annual passes and 10-visit passes expire one year from the date of purchase.

COVID-19 safety measures 

The following are measures put in place for Step 3 of the Province's Roadmap to Reopen plan:

  • Sports are permitted to be played with no game play restrictions but participants who are not actively playing must wear a mask and maintain 2 metres from others on the sidelines
  • Facility capacity limits are based upon the ability for all participants to remain 2 metres apart  
  • You will be asked COVID-19 screening questions upon entering the facility 
  • Masks must be worn at all times while inside the facility, unless you are actively engaged in physical activity 
  • Spectators are permitted based on facility capacity and the ability for all spectators to maintain 2 metres distance at all times
  • Changerooms and showers are open, with capacity restrictions posted at the doors
  • Shower at home if possible 
  • Staff will sanitize equipment and touchpoints regularly throughout the day

Sports lending program

In partnership with the Milton Public Library, you can borrow family outdoor games and sports equipment. All that’s needed is a library card and the desire to have fun and get active.
