The Town of Milton offers a variety of drop-in skating and hockey programs. Whether you are interested in public skating, shinny or Stick 'N Puck, we have something for everyone.

Drop in-skating

Drop-in skating is available at the Milton Sports Centre and Sherwood Community Centre.

Memberships and passes

You can pay-per-visit or buy the 10-visit or annual pass. 10-visit and annual passes are valid for drop-in skating, fitness and swimming. Visit a customer service desk to buy your pass or purchase it online.
All prices include HST. Annual passes and 10-visit passes expire one year from the date of purchase.

COVID-19 safety measures 

  • You will be asked COVID-19 screening questions upon entering the facility 
  • Masks must be worn at all times while inside the facility, unless you are actively engaged in physical activity 
  • Proof of vaccination is required according to provincial and regional guidelines
  • Staff will sanitize equipment and touchpoints regularly throughout the day

Rules and regulations (Stick 'N Puck) 

  • Full equipment is recommended
  • CSA-approved helmets (with full-face mask and hockey gloves for child and youth participants) are required and you must fasten your chinstrap
  • Body contact, organized game play, slap shots and practice tools (e.g. pylons) are not permitted
  • There is 20 skater maximum for all programs
  • For programs for children 12 years and under, the adult to participant ratio is 1:2
  • Coaching is not permitted during family sessions
  • Parent/guardians accompanying children (12 years and under) must be 18 years of age or older and must remain in program area in the arena if not on the ice

  • Full equipment is required
  • CSA approved helmets are required for all participants. Participants under the age of 18 must wear full face-masks
  • Body contact and slap shots are not permitted
  • Goalies play for free but must check-in at customer service
  • Parents/guardians accompanying children (12 years and under) must be 18 years of age or older and must remain in the program area if not on the ice
