Notice: Bronte Street reconstruction

The Town of Milton is facilitating railway crossing reconstruction and realignment of Bronte Street (removal of the ‘Jog’ and traffic moved to the new road alignment).

Road closures

In order to facilitate work, Bronte Street North will be closed at the CPR tracks from May 23, 2023 to June 30, 2023.

Detour route traffic will be routed via Main Street West, Tremaine Road and Steeles Avenue. Trucks will detour via Derry Road, Tremaine Road, Steeles Avenue.

During construction, the public is encouraged to plan travel in advance, consider alternate routes, follow signage and be patient while traveling in and around construction areas.
