In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, this is to advise that Mattamy (Milton West) Limited has applied for a draft plan of subdivision.
Location
The subject property is generally situated on the west side of Tremaine Road bound south of Dymott Avenue and Gordon Krantz Avenue. The subject property is located in Ward 4 and has an area of approximately 33 hectares. The property is legally described as Part of Lots 7, 8, and 9 Concession 7 in the Town of Milton and legally described Parts of Lot 7, 8 and 9, Concession 7 (formerly Nelson Township) - municipal addressing to be assigned through future planning applications. The subject lands are within the Milton Education Secondary Plan and is partially designated as Innovation Hub, High Density Residential, Village Centre, Landmark Gateway, and Medium Density Residential II. The subject lands are currently zoned as Innovation District Zone, High Density Residential II Zone and Medium Density Residential II Zone through Ministerial Zoning Order O. Reg. 476/21
Applicant’s Proposal
A development application has been submitted for a Draft Plan of Subdivision to facilitate the development of a mixed-use community within the Milton Education Village. The applicant intends to establish a range of rights-of-way and residential blocks, along with mixed-use and parkland blocks. Detailed design of each block will be reviewed through subsequent Site Plan Applications and Plans of Condominium.
Planning Act Requirements
The Planning Act requires that all complete applications be processed. The applications are now being circulated to Town Departments and Agencies for technical review. No decision has been made regarding this application.

Legal notices required under the Planning Act
If a person or public body would otherwise have the ability to appeal the decision of the Town of Milton Council but does not make oral submissions at a pubic meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the Town of Milton in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision to the Ontario Land Tribunal.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the Town of Milton in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Milton Council in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision, you must make a written request to the Town Clerk, Town of Milton, 150 Mary St., Milton, Ontario L9T 6Z5.
There are currently no other planning applications, under the Planning Act, associated with this property.
