In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, this is to advise that a statutory public meeting has been scheduled by the Town of Milton’s Development Services Department for a Zoning By-Law Amendment for lands located at Part Lot 5, Concession 2 (Esquesing), between James Snow Parkway and No 5 Side Road.

Application details

  • The applicant is proposed to amend the existing Future Development (FD) zone to a site specific Business Park (M1*XXX) zone to accommodate future employment uses
  • The proposed concept plan shows two buildings at approximately 3, 103.49 square metres in size, containing 18 units, along with surface area parking.
  • Access to the development is provided via a right-in/right-out access on James Snow Parkway and a proposed full moves access on No 5 Side Road. It is noted that heavy trucks are prohibited on No. 5 Side Road.

This meeting will be held as a hybrid meeting with Members of Council having the opportunity to participate in-person at Town Hall or electronically. At this time, members of the public are encouraged to continue to view the meeting by watching the live stream. Legal notices required under the Planning Act

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of Milton Council to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Milton before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Milton before the By-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal, unless in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

If you have received this notice and are an owner of a property and said property contains seven (7) or more residential units, you are required to post this notice in a location that is visible to all the residents. There are currently no other planning applications associated with this property.
