Annual Read and Ride Program returns for the summer

Milton Transit, in partnership with the Milton Public Library, will offer its annual Read and Ride program this summer. From June 14 to Aug. 30, youth aged 16 and under can ride Milton Transit for free by showing their validated library card to the bus driver upon boarding.

Transit validation stickers will be available for free at all Milton Public Library branches starting June 14. Participants must place the validation sticker on their library card.

A kickoff celebration is scheduled for June 14 at the Main Library Branch (1010 Main St. E.) from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents can take part in fun activities, receive their validation stickers, and participate in a scavenger hunt on a Milton Transit bus parked outside the library.
