The Town of Milton Council will consider the 2026 capital and operating budgets at its meeting on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at 7 p.m.  

The budget aligns with the Council-requested budget direction and supports the five themes of the Town’s Strategic Plan  

  • Invest in People  
  • Innovate in Technology and Process  
  • Quality Facilities and Amenities  
  • Connected Transit and Mobility  
  • Planned Community Growth  

The annual budget process allows Council to balance resources, set priorities, and determine the service levels that meet the needs of the community.  

Milton residents and business owners are encouraged to get involved in the 2026 budget process:  

  • Learn more about the 2026 budget  
  • Submit comments to be considered in the budget process by Nov. 27  
  • Attend or watch the live webcast of the Council budget meeting on Dec. 1  
  • Submit a request by noon, Nov. 27, to speak at the Dec. 1 Council meeting, after reviewing instructions on how to speak to Council in the delegation guide
