After a successful patio season in 2023, the Town of Milton is now accepting applications for the 2024 season. The seasonal patio program allows bars and restaurants to extend and operate patios in designated areas.

This year’s program will launch on Victoria Day weekend, coinciding with the opening of the Milton Farmers’ Market on Main Street. The program will run from May 18 to Oct. 31, for patios on public property and until Dec. 31 for patios on private property.

The Town is continuously reviewing and streamlining the patio permit process to support economic prosperity and provide excellent customer service. Town staff evaluate all applications and work closely with applicants to provide guidance, support, and regular updates throughout the entire process. This year applicants are required to submit their application by April 19 to enable approval for May 18.
