Public Notice of Application for Consent
Take notice that pursuant to S.53 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, the Town of Milton has received an application for consent for the property legally known as Part of Lots 7 & 8, Concession 7, Township of Nelson, Milton as shown on the map attached. This notice is being distributed via the Town of Milton Website due to the ongoing Canada Post strike.
Location
The property is legally known as Part of Lots 9 & 8, Concession 7, Township of Nelson, Town of Milton, Regional Municipality of Halton. The property is municipally known as 6400 Tremaine Rd.
Purpose and Effect
To determine an application made by Mattamy (Bright Point) Limited for a proposed Consent to a Severance for the creation of a new lot having frontage on Dymott Avenue. The retained lands will maintain frontage on Dymott Ave., Pan Am Boulevard and Louis St. Laurent Ave.
The subject parcel is more particularly described as: “Lands to be Severed” on a Consent Sketch prepared by Korsiak Urban Planning, dated Oct. 1, 2025 and received on Oct. 1, 2025.
How to Comment
If you have any issues or disputes regarding this application, please SUBMIT IN WRITING to the Secretary-Treasurer no later than Nov. 6, 2025.
If you wish to be notified of the decision in respect of this application, you must submit a written
request to the Secretary Treasurer. Your written request for notification should refer to Application No. B25-002/M. You will be entitled to receive notice of any changes to the conditions of the provisional consent if you have made a written request to be notified of changes to the conditions of the provisional consent.
Only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal decisions in respect of applications for consent to the Ontario Land Tribunal. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or group on its behalf.
If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Town of Milton with respect to the proposed consent does not make a written submission to the Town of Milton before the Consent Authority gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Ontario Land Tribunal may dismiss the appeal. Your written submissions should refer to Application No. B25-002/M.

Where no issues or disputes are received and the applicant is in agreement with all subsequent conditions of approval, the Commissioner of Development Services for the Town of Milton has been delegated the Authority to approve consent applications and no Public Hearing will be held.
If any issues or disputes are raised, a Hearing may be held by the Committee of Adjustment and Consent to review and make a decision on the proposal and the public is welcome to attend. Evidence either for or against the application may be presented at the Hearing.
If you have received this notice and are an owner of a property and said property contains seven or more residential units, the Town of Milton requires that you post this notice in a location that is visible to all the residents.
Notice of Collection of Personal Information
Personal information is collected under the authority of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13 and will be used to notify you of the decision of the Committee of Adjustment and Consent. In respect of this application and/or form part of your public comment in respect of this application. It may also be used to serve notice of an Ontario Land Tribunal hearing.
