The Town of Milton is updating its Parks and Recreation Master Plan and invites residents to help shape the future of recreation in our community. The plan will serve as a strategic roadmap for the next five years (2026-2031) to guide practical and realistic decision-making to ensure investments in parks, facilities, and programs align with community needs and available resources.

“We’re inviting the community to help shape the next five years of parks and recreation in Milton,” said Steve Palmer, Director, Recreation and Culture. “By participating in a survey or attending one of our open houses, residents can help guide future investment and long-term visioning.”

Input received throughout the process from residents, user groups, stakeholders and Town Council will play a significant role in creating the final plan

Residents are encouraged to share their input by completing a short survey on Let’s Talk Milton, the Town’s engagement platform. Next month, a number of residents may be contacted at random to participate in a more detailed telephone survey. Those selected are encouraged to take part.
