The Town of Milton is engaging in a variety of youth related initiatives to implement the findings from the #MiltonYouth Final Report.  The report, which was finalized in June of 2018, celebrates what youth say about Milton and provides opportunities for everyone to better understand how youth engage with our community. 

Milton Youth Task Force 

The Milton Youth Task Force (MYTF), a team of motivated youth leaders, host events throughout the year to celebrate and recognize youth within Milton.

Awards

Play Works is the Ontario Partnership for Active and Engaged Youth and has recognized the Town of Milton as a Gold Level Youth Friendly Community. This recognition program works to acknowledge great work in communities for youth aged 13 to 19 when it comes to play. The Milton community was successful in meeting 9 out of the 10 criteria required for this designation. 

Play can be anything youth participate in during their spare time, such as:
