In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, this is to advise that Neamsby Investments Inc. has applied for a Plan of Subdivision, Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment.
Location
The subject property is situated on Part Lot 9, Concession 6, being parts 5, 6, 7, 8,9 on RP 20R-4963 NS, formerly Trafalgar Township, within the Town of Milton. A municipal address will be assigned at a future date. The subject property is located in Ward 3 and has an area of approximately 61.74 hectares. The site is within the Derry Green Secondary Plan and is designated as Business Park Area and Natural Heritage System. The subject lands are currently zoned as Future Development (FD) and Natural Heritage System (NHS) in the Town’s Urban Zoning By-law 016-2014, as amended.
Applicant's Proposal
Through the Official Plan Amendment (OPA), the applicant is seeking to remove the subject lands from the designated Employment Area and re-designate the entirety of the developable lands to Office Employment (while delineating and appropriately designating existing Natural Heritage Systems (NHS) on site). The Zoning By-law Amendment seeks to implement the direction of the OPA by permitting a range of light industrial and commercial uses through a site-specific Office Employment (C8) Zone. The concurrent Plan of Subdivision intends to establish the appropriate limits of the development blocks, stormwater management pond and natural heritage systems.
Planning Act Requirements
The Planning Act requires that all complete applications be processed. The applications are now being circulated to Town Departments and Agencies for technical review. No decision has been made regarding the applications.
