The applicant, Boyne Urban Development Inc., is proposing to redevelop the subject lands with three duplex townhouse blocks and two stacked townhouse blocks connected by a private road. The proposal will provide 32 duplex townhomes, two standard townhomes and 30 stacked townhomes.

Current status

Sundial Homes - 6071 Fourth Line

Town File: 24T-21006/M

The Sundial Homes application is located on the northwest corner of Britannia Road and James Snow Parkway. The applicant is proposing to develop approximately 1,059 residential dwelling units through detached dwelling units, street townhouse dwelling units, rear lane access townhouse units, back to back units, and residential units in the high-density residential apartment block. The application also includes a greenlands channel with a trail system, a stormwater management pond, a village square, a public elementary school and an internal road system.

Sunset Lands Development - Britannia Rd. E and Regional Rd. 25

Sunset Lands Development Corp. submitted a rezoning application to allow for the development a 169-unit subdivision located a Britannia Rd. E and Regional Rd. 25.

Milteron Developments Ltd. – 8010 – 8050 Derry Road

Town files: LOPA-02/23 & Z-07/23
The applicant, Milteron Developments Ltd., is proposed to amend the originally approved applications to reintroduce the stacked townhouse block of 27 units. A zoning by-law amendment is required to reduce the required parking for the apartment buildings and stacked townhouse dwellings while increasing the maximum combined gross floor area for accessory buildings to permit the development of six bicycle storage shelters. A local official plan amendment is required to amend the Site-Specific Policy 36 to increase the maximum density on the site to 295 units per net hectare.
