The Town of Milton is completing the restoration of various deficiencies at multiple storm water management ponds in Town. Facility maintenance is essential in maintaining pond function, ensuring adequate quantity and quality control, and to provide environmental protection to our downstream receivers.

Work is expected to take place on July 28, 2022 until the end of September at the following locations:

  • Pond #8 - 140 Livingston Rd.

  • Pond #11 - 1475 Main St.

  • Pond #20 - 405 Yates Dr.

  • Pond #30 - 2998 Peddie Rd.

  • Pond #34 - 1060 Tock Close

Enhancements include:

  • Concrete repairs (pond structures including inlet, outlets and ditch inlet catch basin)

  • Site grading repairs (pond banks and trails)

  • Clearing and grubbing (remove excess vegetation)

Road closures

No official road closures will be required to facilitate work, however, lane closures may be required to allow contractors to access ponds, move machinery and material in and out of the site. Pathways and trails in and around ponds may be closed to pedestrian traffic as required to facilitate work, and will be determined in the field, on a site-by-site basis.
