Construction notice

Fourth Line Nassagaweya Bridge (Structure 112) was identified for replacement as part of our bi-annual bridge needs study.

Enhancements include:

  • Removal and replacement of the existing bridge

  • Removal and replacement of asphalt surface

  • Removal and replacement of the guiderail

  • Site restoration

Location

Fourth Line Nassagaweya, located approximately 800m South of No. 30 Side Road.

Construction schedule

Start: June 16, 2025

Completion: November 2025

Road closures

In order to facilitate bridge replacement construction, Fourth Line Nassagaweya will be closed to traffic. Local access will be maintained for residents on Fourth Line but access will be fully restricted at the bridge (no access at bridge).

Location: Fourth Line Nassagaweya, from No. 25 Side Road to No. 30 Side Road.

Detour route: No. 25 Side Road, Fifth Line and No. 30 Side Road
