Construction notice

The Ontario Street Rehabilitation Project includes localized storm sewer pipe and structure rehabilitation, curb and sidewalk replacement, concrete road base repairs, and full depth base and surface course asphalt replacement from Main Street East to Laurier Avenue.

Lane closures

There will be no full road closures during this stage; however, localized lane closures, including nighttime work at intersections, will be required.

Southbound and northbound lanes will close in stages to accommodate asphalt paving operations. Access to Ontario Street from side streets, businesses and residences may be affected during this time.

During construction, the public is encouraged to plan travel in advance, consider alternate routes, follow signage and be patient while traveling in and around construction areas.
