This project includes:

  • Localized storm sewer pipe and structure rehabilitation
  • Curb and sidewalk replacement
  • Concrete road base repairs
  • Full-depth base and surface course asphalt replacement

Ontario Street, from Main Street East to Laurier Avenue

Schedule

Start: April 1, 2026

Completion: June 30, 2026

Lane Closures

There will be no full road closures during this stage. However, localized lane closures will be required, including night work at intersections. Southbound and northbound curb lanes will be closed in stages as work progresses from north to south.

During construction, the public is encouraged to plan travel in advance, consider alternate routes, follow signage and be patient while traveling in and around construction areas.
