Construction notice
This project involves reconstruction of Appleby Line within the road corridor limits from Derry Road to the Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area entrance, excluding the hairpin turn. The scope of work includes full depth roadway reconstruction, storm sewers, curb and gutter, retaining walls, hot mix paving, erosion control, and tree plantings. This project will extend for two years, with completion expected by the end of July 2027.
Road closure
Appleby Line will be temporarily closed to through traffic. Local access will be maintained.
Traffic will be detoured via Derry Road, Bell School Line and 14 Side Road.
Closure schedule
Start: May 19, 2026, at 7 a.m.
Completion: Oct. 16, 2026, at 5 p.m.
